Shinto Industrial Co., Ltd (hereinafter called to as “Shinto”) sets out the privacy policy below. Furthermore, Shinto makes the structure of personal information protection and fully disseminates the importance among all staff. Shinto is committed to respecting customers’ privacy. The personal information mentioned in this context is all data that have a possibility to identify a particular individual.

Through the safety measures, Shinto strictly manages the personal information in order to keep customers’ personal information accurately and up to date, as well as prevent illegal computer access, loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, and other accidents.

Shinto takes any necessary measures such as a maintenance of security system, an improvement in management structure, and a training for employees to keep this policy.

Shinto sometimes collects the customers’ personal information below when necessary:

Shinto uses customers’ personal information to send emails and printed materials, to notify business and event information, to answer questions.

Shinto uses Google’s access analysis tool “Google Analytics”.

Google Analytics uses Cookie to collect access information.

This access information is collected anonymously and cannot identify individuals. The Cookies of Google Analytics are kept for 26 months (as per Google Analytics settings).

Prohibition of disclosing and providing a personal information to third parties

Shinto strictly manages customers’ personal information and absolutely will not disclose the information except when:

  • the customer agrees for disclosure
  • working together with subcontractors to do job requested by customer
  • needs to disclose it by laws and regulations

Safety measures for personal information

Shinto takes reliable measures for security to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information.

When Shinto discloses personal information to subcontractors, Shinto will make the subcontractors comply with our Privacy Policy.

Request from customer

Shinto properly responds to any requests by customers regarding (1) confirmation, (2) correction, addition, deletion, exercise of data portability rights, erasure, (3) retraction of consent of customers’ personal information, after verifying the identity of the requester.
